Digis With Attitude Challenge #14- How do YOU do it?

Can you believe this is the 14th

How fast time flies!!

Our challenge this week is:
How do you do it?

Raindrops, that is!

This challenge was intriguing, to say the least!

There were questions flying among the Digis With Attitude Design Team trying to figure this one out!

If you pop on over to our Challenge Blog, you'll see that we worked it out,
in a BIG way!

I am so proud to be a member of this team,
surrounded by such a creative and talented group of ladies!

We got to use the Brand New Animal With Attidude! named "Kit Kat"!

Of course I stuck my thumb right smack in the middle of my Glossy Accents puddle and raindrops when I put my card together! "DOH!"
Already done, not starting over now...

C'est la vie!

I'm really proud of my cloudy, stormy background! I sponged dye inks over an oval template in blue, navy and lavender... turned out even better than I had hoped!

Kit Kat is colored with Prismacolor pencils and her umbrella is with the only 2 Copic markers I own... I won them from Colleen at Making our Mark and until I figure out how to use them, I'll stick with my pencils, thank you!

You can pick up all the Animals with Attitude at the Store!

And just this week, Cindy-Lynn released TWO brand new Tweens With 'Tude!

If you haven't seen these awesome images,
you're really missing out on some total attitude!!

So, if you're wondering
how I do it,
here's how I made my raindrops:

I cut the window frame out of my 5.5" x 11" card stock, then cut another layer with my Cricut for the outside window frame. Then I cut a rectangle opening out of the Colorbok paper (I think it looks a little like wallpaper)... I cut a piece of clear plastic from a package (I think it was from a pack of trimmer blades) and put it over the hole in the cardstock. Covered it with the "wallpaper", then added the lace "curtain" to the window frame and put that on top.

I dribbled Glossy Accents INSIDE the window to look like rain running down the window...
When it dried, it turned out EXACTLY like I had planned in my head!
How often does that happen?? For me, not so much!

If anyone is interested in the SVG file for this window frame card, please let me know in the comments and I will post it in my Box net account!
It is pretty much a series of squares cut out of a rectangle,
but I've already done all the alignment and spacing...
so if you'd like to create a window of your own,
let me know!

thank you very much for visiting with me today
and hope you'll get a chance to show us
