Fresh Brewed Anniversary Challenge

Y'know, I'm looking at my card and thinking, something is missing... what did I do?
Then, I take another sip of coffee out of my big blue mug and under my coaster, I found it!!
My leaves and vine!!  DER!! So, maybe I'll add the leaves and vine behind the roses, if I can squeeze them in there without making a mess... maybe I won't! I'm sure it would look better with them... we'll see!
So, my apologies, sweet Reader, for giving you a half-naked card... it's not wearing it's undergarments! OOPSIE!

The beautiful image I used in this card is called "Steamy Romance" and is one of my favorite images from Fresh Brewed Designs!

I colored the rose to look like my favorite of all the Roses, The Peace Rose! And the cup, I was aiming for a Wedgwood China look with the blue swirls...

The roses are from a Penny Duncan SVG file. They are actually coated in PearlEx, so in real life, they're very shimmery and quite beautiful, if I do say so myself!

The Challenge this week at the Fresh Brewed Challenge Blog is:
Anniversary!

For this challenge we are asking you to create a card using Anniversary as the theme.
That could mean a wedding anniversary, the anniversary of your blog, first date...
the possibilities are endless!

My fellow Fresh Brewed Crew Members really have outdone themselves this week and have posted AWESOME creations for you!
Please pop over and take a look and make sure to leave them so Latte Lovin!

There have been a few changes to the Rules of the Challenges over at Fresh Brewed!

We've changed it up to make it a little easier and more fun to play!

Here are the NEW FBD rules:
  • All images, cards, projects are allowed.
  • Stamped/digital images are not required
  • We allow 5 entries per person per challenge
  • No limits on how many challenges your card is entered into
  • No other rules or restrictions unless stated on the post itself (if it were a challenge for a hop or release it may have different rules than the normal weekly challenge itself)
  • Winners are chosen at random using random.org
  • Every First Wednesday of the month will be a prize challenge (and you have all month to play!!!) Prizes will no longer be weekly.
  • Fresh Brewed Stamps or Digis are not required but we encourage you to us them if you have them. If you do, your card will be entered twice for the prize drawing.
That being said... and today is the FIRST Wednesday of the month...
We are giving away a fun prize!!!

The prize this month is a RUBBAH STAMP!!!
Which one you ask?
"Coffee, Take Me Away!" Our blog banner / FBD trademark image of course!!!

You may remember seeing that image last week, here on my blog! She's still sitting in her mug, basking in the bubbles... you can be sure I won't let all that paper-piecing go to waste... she will be making a repeat appearance, as I said last week... but for now, she's just soaking up the Mojo Juice and trying to stay warm...

Hope all my friends are safe and warm tonight!
Here, it's supposed to be in the 70's today, so my thoughts are with all of you who aren't so lucky!

Challenges this week:
Crafty Creations, Red, Red Rose Inspiration Poem
Crafts and Me, Red
Simon Says Stamp, Love is in the Air
