MyGrafico Monday Feature: Stockberry Studio

This week at MyGrafico we are featuring an adorable set of digis from Stockberry Studio called "Stick Figure Easter Digital Stamps". You can grab the set HERE!
I chose to use bright and cheerful colors and papers. The MyGrafico DT has created some really inspirational projects with these images!
You have to jump over to the challenge blog to check them out!
The challenge at MyGrafico runs all month and anyone can enter! The challenge them is ALWAYS "Anything Goes" and there are some terrific entries so far this month! Will yours be next?

Altogether, there are 10 images in the set! For only $4, it's a great value!

My little boy AJ saw my card and wanted to use a similar style for his entry in the Kid's Challenge at the Latte Lounge!

Here's AJ's project:

I am totally amazed with how far along he has come. He actually figured out how to make an easel card (he's 10 years old)! He used papers from the same pack I used and colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils. He also used the Bow Maker on my Crafter's Companion to tie the ribbon. And he liked how my dress was paper pieced, so I taught him how to do that this weekend!

You might recognize the flowers... I made them for my Fresh Brewed Designs card last week. He watched and decided to make his own. They are SO easy to make and they look PERFECT on his card!

Truth be told, I think his card this week is better than mine!!

Scrappin' With Digis and and Important Update

OK, maybe my title is backwards, because
I'm going to give you the update first!
Today is Friday!
Usually that means I would be posting my project for
the Digis with Attitude! Challenge!
As you can plainly see, I haven't done that!

The reason?
Cindy-Lynn, the owner of Digis with Attitude! announced Tuesday
that the DWA challenge blog is closed, effective immediately
Yeah! I'm shocked too!!

SO! While that door closed, another quickly opened!
I was invited to be a member of the team at MyGrafico
and had been contemplating it!
With the new gap in my schedule, it was the perfect opportunity!
So I am pleased to announce
my new position with the MyGrafico Team!
Several new members have joined our team
and there will be a "formal" announcement Monday!
I'm really looking forward to working with these ladies!
They are a warm, welcoming and fun group
and I have worked with products from several of their artists
and love them!
So this may just be a match made in Heaven!

And my other news today!

YES!! I was featured in The Journal,
the newsletter of The Stamping Boutique!
If you haven't signed up yet to receive our weekly newsletter,
go ahead and do that right now: HERE'S THE LINK
I'll wait, just hurry back!
This week, you get to learn ALL about me!
Doesn't that make you just want to RUN! (-:

Every week, there is a FREE, brand new TSB image released!
The image this week is called "Pocket Patootie Bunny"

I used him to make a scrapbook page!
It's been a long time since I felt the "urge" to make a page,
but this image just made me think of Easter Egg Hunting
and I remembered these pictures I had the THE box!
You know THE box... the one FULL of pictures to be scrapped!
These pictures are from Easter 2002!
Tomorrow, the little one on the left will be 10!!

The pocket in the top left corner is actually
a real piece of my little guy's pants!
Yes, I suppose I AM a hoarder!
I have clothes from 2002, sitting in "Space Saver Bags" in the closet!
I pulled out these shorts and remembered that day, clear as a bell!

So, who's jealous!?!
This picture was taken EASTER weekend!
See the leaves under the trees!?!
NO SNOW!!!
Mwah-ha-ha-ha... {{evil laughter}}

I cut off the pocket, put it on my page, and put the Journal Tag inside
(yes, the pocket opens, the tag is inside)!
Cute, right?

All the eggs and other Easter-theme cuts are from the
"Easter Morning Egg Hunt" collection from SVG Cuts.com

Here's a closeup of the Pocket Patootie:
I colored him with Paint.NET and used a denim texture to "fill" his pocket!

Yeah... I'm a little behind scrapping...
I'm feeling motivated!

Hope you come back to visit soon!
Look for more pages, coming to a theater near you!
