Today, a new challenge has started at The Stamping Boutique Challenge Blog
and I have been waiting anxiously to share this card with you!

I chose to use a scalloped circle shape, which I made from a template from the beautiful Melin of Paper Crafting World! What a terrific file this was to work with! She even included the butterflies, the scrolls, and a flower (which I switched out for daisies today!)... for only $2.50 for entire cutting file set, it's a GREAT deal!!
Those little daisies made me a little nervous, too... the biggest one is .5", then they are incrementally smaller, down to .4" and .3"... I'm still using my Cricut "E" with MTC, and I was so afraid I'd end up with a mangled mess, but remarkably enough, they turned out pretty cute!
The yellow background paper is from K&Co.
What do you think of the "Daisy Fairy"?
She is one of the newest images in the shop at The Stamping Boutique and I love her!!
All the little "black-looking" dots in her dress are actually sparkles from Diamond Stickles, similar to those I used on the butterfly wings...
Something about this card just makes me feel very, very happy and hopeful...
I wanted to take just a second to give a shout out to my friend Jennifer Scull. She has personally received some terrible news from her doctor and is undergoing surgery preparation for next week! On top of that, the school shooting yesterday happened in Chardon, OH, which is where Jennifer lives. When I heard the news yesterday, I immediately thought of her, but thankfully her son was home for the day... but their little town is really struggling with the pain and heartbreak.... Jen, my friend, I am sending you all the positive energy I can spare to help hold you up through what has been a devastating week!!!
