TCC and TSB Challenges

Things are really getting ready to ROLL at 

The Crafter's Cafe!!

We have made our new Design Team Selections

and are planning our first event of 2012!

Our new Challenge Blog is gearing up for a 

Super Grand Opening, too!

There is just so much going on, and we owe it all to our

amazing artist and owner, Tracey Malnofski!!

Speaking of Tracey, the owner of The Stamping Boutique,

it's also time for new challenge at the TSB Challenge Blog!!

This week, the TSB Challenge is to

Use Die Cuts!

and the new TCC Challenge is to create

Anything But a Card!

My two favorite challenges!

So I combined them into this one, cute project!

The heart shaped box is from SVGCuts.com

in the brand new (to me) "Love Me Do" Collection.

The pink bow was made with seam binding from

The digital image on the tag is

The tiny hearts embossing on the top layer is 

a Fiskar's Texture Plate.

Here is my first project 

as a member of the Jellypark Team:

The Challenge this week is:

Something in my Pocket

We were to create anything with a pocket on it!

My biggest challenge was deciding which image to use!!

Browsing thru the Jellypark Shop

there are so many cuties to choose from,

it was tough to pick only one!!

I made a criss-cross pocket card,

with the Dress Shop image!

This is not my typical color palette, but I received so many goodies for Christmas from my crafty friends, I had to go outside my usual comfort zone!

While it turned out pretty cute, I still think something is missing,

but I can't quite place my finger on it...

perhaps a little embossing on the tan panel (?)

The ribbon is attached to a notecard in the pocket.

I would show ya'll a photo of the notecard, but I'm a ding-dong

and wrote it out to someone before I realized I hadn't taken it's picture...

See, I've been away FAR too long and have lost my rhythm!

C'mon groove-thang... hurry back!! (-:

Hello, everybody!!

I know, it's been awhile!

And I sure have missed you all!!

It's been a chaotic few months, since we moved from NC to PA,
but things are FINALLY settling into something that resembles a routine!

This is the FIRST crafty project I have made since the Open House at TCC.
And that was the last week of December...

I sure have missed my scissors and glue!

But, this card is pretty special... see, this month, not only is MY birthday on the First,
but two of my very best friends are celebrating too: Rhonda Miller and Tracey Malnofski!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GIRLS!!

And to celebrate, we have a "Happy Birthday" Theme for our challenge over at the
Brand New Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog!!


I sure do hope you'll be able to stop over to say "Hi"...
we have all kinds of exciting things planned

New Design Team Call!!!!

Hi Everybody!!
I am so pleased to announce some very exciting changes for The Crafter's Cafe!


We have started a BRAND NEW CHALLENGE BLOG!!

We are looking for a few creative people to join OUR DESIGN TEAM!!


Here are the requirements:

• You will create TWO (2) projects a month for the Challenge Blog
• You will actively participate in events at The Crafter's Cafe as much as you can!
• You will be involved in planning events at TCC and will hopefully provide samples for events as needed (we have "events" once every other month, so this is NOT a lot of extra work)
• You should have an active blog to promote our challenges and events

Here are the benefits:

• You will receive a variety of images from our sponsors
• Your blog and artwork will be prominently displayed on our Challenge Blog AND at the TCC Community
• You will make LOTS of new friends and build great relationships at TCC.
• You will have FUN!!!!!!!
