Hi Ya'll!
My friend Patti (Scrapunzel) is hoping to get a few new followers to her totally awesome crafty blog!
She wants to share her creativity with you and is willing to give you a gift for following!!
She is having a "100th Post" Blog Candy Giveaway at her blog!
Won't you please join me and follow her (by email) and help her get to the magic 40- followers number?
She has a Wordpress Blog, so you have to click the "Follow by Email" link in her sidebar
(Wordpress doesn't have a "Followers" gadget like the one we use for Blogger)...
but it only takes a second and it's worth the time, because she sure does post some fantastic projects!!
She's offering the lucky candy winner their choice of {Ippity} stamp from her favorite {Ippity Chick} Aletha!

The Game ATC Challenge
This week at The Game Challenge Blog, I was invited to be a Guest Designer!
The team was sent a package of goodies from ARTChix Studios to use for our samples.
The theme of the new challenge is:
Remember, all the challenges at "The Game" are based on
popular games... you may know this game as
"Red Light, Green Light".
I know I played that one on the playground when I was little!!
So, for the challenge, we were to use the colors of a traffic light: red, amber and green
and make an ATC using the products from our Sponsor!
I have NEVER made an ATC before and I have to say,
it really was a lot of fun!
The collage sheets that we received in our Sponsor package were fantastic.
As I was cutting out pieces and putting things together,
I found myself giggling out loud a few times.
You'll see why in a minute!
Here are my first ever ATC's:
Here are close ups of each one:
This one made me giggle, when I cut out the green wings from another picture in the collage and just plopped it on top of that ladies' head! I don't know, somehow, it just seemed to fit! LOL!! (-: |
I think this one is my favorite. But I had fun making all three! |
When I made this rolled rose, I kept thinking I must be out of my mind! This is the tiniest rolled rose I've ever made! It started as a 1" circle punch, if that gives you an idea just how little it is! |
Thank you to my friend Susan Guzy,
who sent the collage sheets and wooden bits
for these ATC's.
And in the package, she included bonus amber-colored cardstock
and all the little German scraps that edge each of the cards.
I appreciate the opportunity to be a Guest on the Team
and had a lot of fun working on this challenge project!
I hope LOTS of people will join us over at The Game
and show off their red, amber and green ATC's!!
