Using the Cri-Kits pens adds a whole new dimension to using my Cricut!

I found a great coloring book page of a hummingbird, used Inkscape to convert it to an SVG.
Then imported it into SCAL and drew it. After the drawing, I used the "Shadow Blackout Rounded" to cut it out.

I'm so pleased with the end result!

Baptism Layout

I have finally finished my Baptism Layout for my little boy!
I created a Photo Album in Yahoo Groups to share the pictures but don't care much for how file sharing and photo posting works over there... too me, it just seems too complicated. For what it's worth, here is a link to that album:

I created the file for the Little Boy and for the Dove using Inkscape and some coloring book pages I found online.

He is embossed using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder

and the dove using Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls folder.

The flowers and glittery ribbon, I picked up at the Dollar Tree!

The tags I used Lesleyann's "Nesties Lookalikes" from LA's Blogspot. (link on my blog).

The verse reads, "Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these. Matthew 19:14"

He will be Baptized Easter Sunday, so the photos will be added then...
